How to use this calculator
- Pick 2-way or 3-way market.
- Enter the decimal odds for each outcome.
- The implied probabilities and total margin appear.
Worked example
Three-way market at 2.10, 3.50, 4.00. Implied: 47.6% + 28.6% + 25.0% = 101.2% — margin 1.2% (very sharp). Anything above 105% on a 3-way is high-margin retail pricing.
Common questions
What is a fair margin?
Exchange / sharp book level is 2-4% on major football. Soft books are 5-8%. Anything above 10% is excessive.
Does margin matter for accas?
Massively. A 5-leg acca on 7% margin pricing loses ~30% of your edge to the book vs 2% pricing.
