What is a Bet Builder?
A Bet Builder — also known as a Same Game Multi or Request-a-Bet — lets you combine two or more selections from the same match into a single bet. Unlike a standard accumulator, all legs come from one game. Bookmakers adjust the combined odds to account for correlation between events (e.g. a win and lots of goals in the same match). The result is a single bet with higher odds than any individual market, all riding on 90 minutes of football.

How Bet Builder Works
A Bet Builder lets you pick multiple outcomes from the same match — combining markets that a standard accumulator wouldn't allow (because you can't normally combine two selections from the same game).
When you add a selection, the bookmaker's system calculates the correlation between it and your other choices. Positively correlated legs (e.g. Team Win + Over 2.5 Goals) will see odds reduced — but so would the implied probability if priced fairly. Negatively correlated or independent legs (e.g. Over 2.5 Goals + Both Teams 1+ Card) get closer to a true multiplication.
The key advantage is being able to build a single-match story into one bet — one game, one 90 minutes, multiple angles paying into a single return.

Bet Builder Strategy Tips
1. Stick to 3 legs or fewer
Every extra selection multiplies the ways you can lose. Three well-chosen legs from high-quality data usually outperforms a six-selection scatter gun approach.
2. Use correlated markets intentionally
If you believe a game will be high-scoring, stack BTTS + Over 2.5 Goals + a goalscorer from the stronger side. Positive correlation means they share an outcome, increasing the chance all land together.
3. Factor in referee and tactical styles
Cards markets are heavily influenced by the appointed referee's average booking rate. A referee averaging 5+ cards per game dramatically changes the probability of a Both Teams 1+ Card selection.
4. Check player availability before placing
A player shot or scorer selection is worthless if that player is substituted at half-time or doesn't start. Always confirm predicted line-ups within 2 hours of kick-off where possible.
5. Stake small relative to a standard bet
Even a 3-leg Bet Builder at 3.50 has a lower implied probability than many punters realise. Use Bet Builder as a speculative stake — typically 25–50% of what you'd stake on a single selection.
